PROGRAMS

Each year a budget is created and voted on by our board and members. From this, we decide where the funds will go. When the school year starts the PTSA strives to raise at least enough funds to meet some of the items on the wishlist of the school administration. While fundraising is not our primary goal, it is an important aspect of the PTSA. Money raised by the PTSA during our annual Pledge Drive helps supplement the needs of the PHS students and staff that can not be met by the school budget and district funding. In addition, we organize guest speakers, host movie showings and provide educational workshops for the whole community. One hundred percent of the money raised through PTSA goes directly back to benefit the PHS students.
